Watching us watching you - Our Cookie Policy

By accessing and using our website;, you are agreeing to the terms of this cookie policy. Please read this cookie policy carefully.

We may, from time to time, update this cookie policy and will post any changes on our website at so it is good practice to come back occasionally and read through it again.

This cookie policy was last updated on 23rd May 2018.

Awning Ace Limited have kept to a minimum the number and type of cookies used throughout our website, with only two shop critical instances:

PHPSESSID (Contains a PHP "session ID", expires when the browser is closed)

Session (Contains a PHP "session ID", can also contain an email address and encrypted password, expires after one year)

The "PHPSESSID" cookie is required so that our website can keep track of your progress through the site. Without it, every page would be treated as the first visit to the site, and anything added to the shopping basket would be instantly forgotten. Online shopping would, therefore, be impossible.

The "session" cookie is intended for our customer's convenience; we generate this cookie with a copy of the initial session ID so that you can be recognised as "returning" and the contents of your shopping basket will still be available. If, however, you choose to sign in with an email address and password, your login details are saved. This helps by keeping you logged in when returning (your password is, of course, encrypted). When you sign out from our website, your login details are removed from the cookie.

Comodo cookies are an essential part of this process.
